Advent Day of Prayer: Join us at the San Damiano Spiritual Life Center for an Advent Day of Prayer with Father Paul Scalia, Episcopal Vicar for Clergy, on Saturday, December 8, 2018. This year’s theme is “Waiting with Mary, the Immaculate Conception.” Let us make this Advent a fruitful time of preparation for Our Lord’s coming at Christmas. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the day concludes after Mass – about 3:30 pm. The cost of the day is $30 which includes lunch. Days of Recollection for Men and Women Discerners - Could Christ be calling you to the priesthood or religious life? Take a step to find out. The Office of Vocations will hold a day retreat for women on Sunday, December 16, and a day retreat for men on Saturday, December 22. Both run from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and are open to those 17 years and older. Religious sisters will be present for the women, and seminarians, priests and men religious will be at the men’s. High School Placement Test (HSPT) Registration - Eighth grade students attending public schools or non-Catholic private schools who are interested in attending Catholic High Schools in the Diocese of Arlington need to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) offered on Saturday, January 12, 2019. This test is required for placement at Bishop Ireton High School, Bishop O’Connell High School, Paul VI High School and Saint John Paul the Great High School. Students must fill out an HSPT Registration Form  (available under “Frequently Asked Questions” under Schools at  http://www.arlingtondiocese.org/). The deadline for registration is January 10, 2019.
